Start your walk at the fishing port of Saida, visit the historical fortress of the city “The Sea Castle” where you can admire a nice view of the port and old part of the city.
Take the old streets of the souks where workmen still ply their trades. Visit thet “souk el najjarin” where two craftmen still producing handmade wooden shoes and chairs. You can encourage these local craftsmen and buy some of their artisanal distinguished products.
Visit the old orthodox church in the old city and the Khan Al Saboun (The Sidon Soap Museum) that used to be an old soap factory belonging to Audi family. You can admire there the various techniques of soap production, and you can buy from their showroom a variety of local products of soaps scented, oils, lotions and other skin products. If you have time visit as well an old Hammam located in the old city.
